Romney vs. McCain: The ads
Two new web ads from the campaign of Romney and McCain as they fight it out in New Hampshire show just how nasty the battle is getting.
Romney’s ad first - “Twists”: It focuses on McCain’s ostensible support for “amnesty” in the immigration debate and his opposition to some of Pres. Bush’s tax cuts while also taking a hard line in making the case that JMac is a Washington “insider.” Negative didn’t fly in Iowa - how about the Granite State?
McCain’s new ad (”Leadership”), like Mitt’s, goes after his opponent by name and with fierce vitriol. It’s just another string of pot shots calling Romney naive on foreign policy issues - McCain’s strength. Not as harsh as Romney’s ad…
