37 million watched Palin

Wow. That’s almost as many eyeballs as Obama’s big Thursday Invesco speech got last week. But Nielsen reports that the RNC prime time coverage last night was watched by 37.2 million people. There goes the enthusiasm gap…

So Obama and Palin matched up nearly evenly for their headliner speeches. Safe money is McCain getting considerably less gaudy numbers with his big speech tonight. Palin is the excitement factor on the ticket, not McCain.

And Axelrod has got be fuming somewhere…
