McCain campaign statement on Supreme Court decision in Ohio voter case
We now have an official statement from the McCain campaign on the SCOTUS decision refusing the GOP request to get the Ohio Secretary of State to check the information of new registrants against official state documents for potential errors.
Rick Davis issued the following statement:
“Today’s decision by the United States Supreme Court does not address violations […]
McCain campaign on “spreading wealth” and “narrow-victory” strategy
With the final presidential debate in the books for a few days and the race now churning in a sort of no man’s land from now until election day, McCain is intent on aiming to regain control of the campaign dialogue, redefining Barack Obama as “Senator Government” and stretching to attain whatever sort of election […]
Supreme Court favors Dems in Ohio voter case, ACORN and fraud top talking points for McCain-Palin
A major ruling from the Supreme Court came down today involving the always contentious issue of voter registration and identification. With the questionable activities of ACORN and other Democratic-leaning groups across the country already hot topics for the McCain campaign and Republicans, their loss in the Ohio case - a crucial battleground with a history […]

Obama TV: “It Gets Worse” tackles McCain-care
The Obama has been incredibly ferocious in its attacks on McCain’s health care plan, especially in criticizing McCain’s plan to tax health benefits. The blitz has actually worked, as voters have consistently given McCain poor marks on health care, a rare instance where a Democratic candidate has managed to put together an issue ad assault […]
Didn’t McCain hate robo-calls?
He complained bitterly about George Bush’s campaign smearing him with blatantly false rumors in a late blast of robo-calls in South Carolina during the 2000 GOP primary. Now his own ‘08 campaign is using them as a tool of last resort to keep up false allegation that Obama has “worked closely with domestic terrorist Bill […]
Obama TV: “90 Percent”
This was the Obama campaign’s post-debate ad from this morning. Not sure if either of the campaigns knew that the pother would be coming out with the ads focused on whether or not McCain is too closely aligned with President Bush, but the spots are awfully good point-counterpoint.
Obama’s ad actually uses the “I’m not President […]
Ayers and ACORN aren’t dead yet
McCain indicates in comments this morning that he feels Obama did not go far enough in fully detailing his supposedly close connections with “unrepentant terrorist” Bill Ayers and the scandalized voter registration efforts of ACORN. McCain may be shifting more to the economy and class warfare, but Obama’s associations aren’t quite the dead issues that […]
McCain TV: “Fight” takes on Obama and “the last eight years”
The McCain campaign’s first post-debate TV ad (running “nationally” without any ad buys) takes dead aim at Obama and some of the themes McCain grilled him on during last night’s showdown, but it’s not the subject you may be thinking.
“Fight” doesn’t go after Obama on Bill Ayers or ACORN. Instead, it continues the class warfare […]
The Buzz
The finish line is now in sight for the Obama campaign and they are deciding to go for the jugular, stepping on the necks of McCain and the Republicans by pouring new ad money into reliably red states in what amounts to a risk-free gamble by Obama that the crippling economic crisis could change the […]
