We have our winners coming out of last night’s anti-climactic Iowa caucuses…but what does it really mean? Obama and Huckabee clearly wowed the uninvolved masses enough in the Hawkeye state for them to come out in droves and support these two non-traditional candidates in the face of mainstream heavyweights. Some early items making news…
Details are still sketchy for the GOPers, but Democratic turnout is reported as being immense. Half are actually first-time caucus goers, which plays into Obama’s strategy. Remaines to be seen if this translates into sustained results.
Early returns actually have Edwards in front, slightly, with 34% to Hillary’s 32%. This is very […]

How easy does Hillary Clinton have it right now? Well, she can completely dodge tough questions on social security and Iraq, plus let loose several annoying cackles of laughter, and still come out on top of the Dems NH debate last night. This thing was all about HRC going in and coming out, as the […]

The main storyline heading into tonight’s Democratic debate is Hillary Clinton’s unquestioned status as Dem frontunner. Questions were raised and possible faults were identified during the summer, but nothing managed to stop the HRC juggernaut. Nor does it seem anything will. She is armed with a highly moderate health care plan immune from criticism of […]

NY Daily News has an interesting article on how 9/11 groups opposed to Rudy Giuliani and his presidential run are preparing to launch a Swift-boat style attack against the NYC hero. In fact, the groups are literally modeling their strategy on the uber-successful Republican ploy from the ‘04 general. Lots of anger surrounds Rudy’s performance […]
